It's interesting to learn oral interaction skills here in university. I get to know that Malaysian pronounce a lot of simple English words wrongly. Wrong in pronunciation and rhythm. Not being stereotype, Malays speak in English with monotone, Chinese tends to speak with the addition of extra exclamation while Indians speaks like singing a song or added a lot of tongue-rolling. Well, we can't change the way Malaysians speak in English, this is our accent anyway.
Speaking of interaction, tone always doesn't matter for me, even the content. What is more important? The way that people play around the words.
I like to see people playing around with the words they saying. This can show one's intelligence. I admire those people that can rapidly arrange nicely those words they wanted to talk and manage to convince another so easily. I mean, how can your brain process so fast and function so well.
I guess that is one of the reason why I always keep myself updated to the political news in Malaysia. Politicians use mouth to make money, and I always like to listen to what they say, although I know most of it are a lie or a blank promise anyway.
I'm almost 21. Most of the people surrounded are similar to my age. So it's quite funny to know that some people still can't get the importance of "words play". I know sometimes they said it without really meant it but it's still better to modify a little the sentence trying to present. Part of it is to do some actings. What's is in your heart does not mean that it is needed to be exposed out entirely.
So in this case, a "Thank you" is just fine, although another hidden word is in your mind.
And ya, no hatred is in my mind, because I don't hate you, I'm just not excited about your existence.
What a "word play"!
And when people just directly speak something that is hard to listen, close your ears then.
Awww, cute little animal~
Writing this post makes me feel so guilty. I speak without using my brain sometimes. I definitely hurt quite a lot of people in the past. Sowwie~ hope you forgive aH Wai~... I'll try to avoid it this time. HEHE~
