Shake them out

My sister always says to me that result is not anything when you are in the university.
That is ...hmm..., true.
But let just back to reality.
We always do comparison since we were born.
From kindergarten until university. We always compare the marks on the examination sheet.
Even after we graduated, we compare the amount of money we can earn. 
How wealthy is your family, how big is your house, how expensive is your car, or even, how beautiful is your wife?

This is a cruel world. A mad world indeed. 


So please tell me, result is not anything? Not at all.
Right now, at this moment, examination result is everything for me.
Yeah, I bet is the kiasu attitude in me, perhaps, the air surrounded around me.

This is the story :
I used to be always get teased by people. I can always take it as a joke. I smiled and laughed. That is the only way I can continue with the conversation. I am not angry nor sad. I am not that confident enough as the rest, that is my weakness, and so I think I deserve all these teases. 


I was searching the so called confidence in the past.
Right now I am searching for something which can make me feel good about myself, can let my parents feel proud about me.

I have nothing left.
Besides writing out nonsense on a piece of paper and posting some non-nutritious blog posts on my blog, I do not have anything left to make me feel better about myself.
Sometimes even in a casual conversation with bunch of friends, I can hardly feel the "yeah".
By doing my very best in every test and examination in every semester, and thus get a good result, is the only thing I can feel good about myself.

Eventhough I can't guarantee that these examination result I get can brings the success of my future, but something I know right now is that, it is everything for me to feel good about me as a person.

That is also always the reason why I wanna learn new things to stuff up my life.
I've found the importance to always learn something new to me.
Even if it is a half-filled pail (direct translation). But I don't care. 

Yeah.
This is rather random.
I am not disappointed, I am not sad. Just neutral.
I am just shaking it out, something that haunts me.

The royal town of Klang

I'm from Klang, and proud to a Klangist.
I really love my hometown.
Friendly people, ehem, good foods are everywhere.

In university, we make friends from different places.
As a Klangist , do you have any idea where to bring your non-Klangist friends to hang around in this small town?
Very hard right?
This place seems to be so happening for us, but it's really hard for us to find any clue that which part of Klang is fun and worth-going.
AEON Bukit Tinggi? NO WEYYH !

I decided to post up some of my recommended places that worth going.
All of them are just my personal recommendations.
Let me just name it --> aH Wai's recommendations !!  :

1) "Ah Herh" Bah Kut Teh

 Serve in a bowl not claypot 

First thing when people mentioned about Klang for sure is Bah Kut Teh.
Klang is the home town for this well-known Malaysia food. No other place can make it as good as the Klangist.
There are hundreds of restaurants/stalls selling it in this small town.
Each 1 of them has their own unique taste. The deliciousness of each of them is just personal.
My family has our own "regular" Bah Kut Teh restaurant/stall to go to when it is "Bah Kut Teh day" - normally once in a week. "Ah Herh" Bah Kut Teh have two stalls which located in Pandamaran and Berkeley.

Every droplets of the essence of the soup is just full of tastiness. Not to mention their soup is not that concentrated and "thick" which will not makes you feel very greasy and fattening after eating it.
(Some people will recommend "Bridge-side BKT" which is also very famous, but I don't remember I've tried it before)

2) Chong Kok Kopitiam

This is one of the rare places where you can find different races of people gather here to have breakfast.
You can order a hot Nasi Lemak and a hot cup of kopi if half boiled eggs and kaya bread cannot fill up your stomach. The environment here is just so right to have a great start in the morning. Very historical !

3) Cendol Klang

Since 1972. It used to be just a hawker stall on the street with long queue. Until recent years (around the year 2000) only they move into a shop. The taste, hmm, not that tasty anymore lah. But still quite a historical taste that is a must try in Klang.

4) Pandamaran YoYo Ice and Fried Chicken

When I was small I stay in my grandma's kampung house in Pandamaran. I have loads of memories here in Pandamaran. Believe it or not, I used to always pee and shit at the small drain outside the garden of this kampung house. And not to forget catch small longkang fishes and tadpoles at the drain. What a childhood~ only the 90's kid who live in this small kampung will ever experience it. This YoYo ice and fried chicken were the food I'll get awarded when I did well in my exam. I would say it's not just about the taste, but the memories too.

5) Laksa

Bihun Mee Laksa and iced bamboo juice

Personal recommendation. The curry soup is mixed with more coconut milk, which I love it very much. It is located just opposite Cendol Klang in a small hawker stall.
This type of Laksa, some other Malaysian like to name it Curry Laksa rather than just Laksa.

6) CK Wan Tan Mee
A small stall beside a big road near Delta tuition centre. Maybe I seldom eat wan tan mee. But this is by far the best I've tasted lah. Their shui kao is really nice. *thumbs up*

7) Taman Chi Liung Claypot Chicken Rice Bowl
Damn. I'm drooling while posting the pictures. The chicken rice is served in claypot to keep the hotness and freshness. The smell of the hot black soy sauce rice with some small button-sized salted fish pieces is just too tempting. Besides, the pork intestine soup is just the perfect match for this chicken rice.

There are a lot more places to go in Klang.
This is my recommendations at this moment.
Maybe there is a lot more for me to explore in Klang.
Until then I will add more recommendations into the list.

Oh yeah ~ Just came back from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) for international summer exchange program. It was really an eventful trip and I have a lot of things to blog about it. Just wait for it, I will write about it later or sooner after some arrangement and compilation. (It's gonna be a very tedious job)
For now, as usual lah~ I want to have some rest before the new semester. So I choose to nua at home. Like every holiday.

Trust me. I'm gonna work really hard for the next semester. << Repeated it for the N times already.
