baka...

I still remember those days when I used to compete with my friend who will be the one who know the latest pop song that tops the billboard chart first. I will be constantly on Spotify listening for new potential songs that were added into the playlist (kiasu wtf).
and I carefully analyse and listen to the lyrics/flow of the song. if the song connects and has a good vibe, I will be the first to share it with them.
and when the song become super popular later I will feel super accomplished. *punch fist to the air

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Those days were just 3 months back!

At this moment of my life, working 9 to 9 wtf. come back home dinner (or supper or whatever you like to call it its already 9 wtf) finally able to loosen up the intensed-ambience that I have been already bearing it for  the last 10 hours. and feeling super tired. don't even feel like doing anything at that point of my life. not even want to think. just have my brain be empty.

and when I come to realise it will be 12am and I should be on my bed sleeping.

swiping FB looking at my friend posting his own cooks
somehow make me admire them so much because they can still have the time to develop new hobby while working.

work life is tough. tougher than how I used to imagine.
cos I used to be just surrounded by job that I am familiar with... mom is an accountant, dad working on business, relatives were all working on either business or administrator work. teachers, lecturers, logistic industry, retail shopping mall.. that's all.

as a fresh graduate that newly step into engineering industry, must have a tough heart to face it.

future can be bright. but bright is subjective.
it depends whether if you want it this way. 80% of the day is occupied with works. and some people in this industry are even crazier, work till midnight and come back on weekend to work.
pay is attractive of course. but does it really worth it?

maybe it is just me being too vulnerable? or still unable to settle down.

thanks to Haji holiday I get to have the time to make my plan and to think about what is my next step a little bit.

and then I came across this post when I was swiping FB.. which I find it should be something that I should ponder about.

Signs that shows that a man is not mature:

1 think and don't do
2 like to make excuses
3 bring home shitty emotion from work
4 too honest to talk about the past relationship
5 make too much promises that cannot be kept
6 express all kinda emotion too easily
7 easily trust the 'no's by woman
8 no savings

things guys shouldn't be doing:

1 no vision and objective
2 wasting time
3 too dependent
4 not decisive
5 not planning for future
6 reject to any kind of advice
7 not ready to commit in a relationship

yes.
hit me so hard in de face.

haiz.

Beyond The Four Walls of the Lecture Room

So one day my friends were in my room again for chit chating session.
They usually will talk about something that does not interest me much. Then this guy started to talk about how when he was little he likes to dismantle his toy car and look at how the mechanical part works, and reassemble back after modification. All of the sudden the rest of my friends join in and say they were doing the same thing when they were still young. and the discussion went on and on...

wtf
Nope.

Don't look at me.

"I used to own a toy car of course!"

I just don't like to dismantle the toy car and freak out when it does not move anymore after I reassemble it back.

TOY CARS ARE EXPENSIVE!

what I like to play with most of my McDonald's Disney toys is to create a story for them. Let all the character from different storyline to blend in into my imagination.
I draw decorative ~ plants! buildings! school buses! so that my story looks more real!
hahaha wtf

talk to this bunch of engineer friends makes me look extraordinary.
I have already knew it since the first day of my study in UPM taking up this course.

I prefer reading interesting stories, listening to new songs, talking crap with friends..
But being super realistic, I realise how important taking up useful degree major can get me a more secure career in the future.
That is the reason why until now I still don't feel regret taking up something that I don't particularly enjoy.

Career talk after career talk after career talk, I have learned how demanding this field is, and how competitive it is. and thanks to our faculty, that has created quite many opportunities for us to expose to these motivating events.

But somehow after four years of study, being a super 0% dummy about circuitry fundamental, Electrical and Electronic Engineering this course has done several knowledge injections to me and has already make me wanted to be more aware and concern about the happenings in this field.

Engineering in this campus, in my opinion is good.
They offers a lot of facilities that it is up to you to explore.
Student activities? yes.
Career opportunity? yes.
Overseas exchange opportunities? sure. just ask and apply!
Environment wise, ...?
Environment as in a lot of trees, lake side library, air conditioning in lecture room/hall, is superb.
but environment as in people in this faculty? hmmm.. it is up to you to decide. of course there are few of them in the circle are very competitive, which is good, cos all we want is to get influence by each other of this 'competitiveness' or 'positive mindset'.

other than that, being in the final year final semester in UPM, it makes me realise I have learned something so much else beyond this.
Here is to name a few:

1. Too much group photos

From first year till final year. lol
from photo after photo

group photo

group photo

 another group photo
and another 300 more group photos with coursemates. lol

2. The ultimate "scissors"/"peace" hand sign is the ultimate photo posing sign

even when they are drunk. still remember the scissors.

scissors

scissors

after scissors

3. Not knowing how to dress up ourselves
First world problem in engineering faculty worldwide? I suppose haha LOL
but taste getting better compare to first year la hahahaha (with guilt*)

4. Apparently Facebook is your working place
we are on there almost more than 12 hours a day.

we discuss assignment and report announcement there! No FB you will stuck in another class. Serious!

5. You take a long nap. like a really loooong nap..
"har kah wai?? you are not napping today? this is weird! I better buy lottery!"

6. You know your university is not so 'advance' when they proudly say that your residential college is the only hostel that has elevator. and people proudly cheer to this matter. "OHHHHH!! ELEVATOR!! AUMMMMM KOLEJ 10!"

7. You learn how to help people wipe their asses.
group work. tonnes of shit. everyone knows that.

8. You learn how to wipe one's shoes.
Apparently people freak out when I say 40% weightage for final exam is our score allocation standard. The rest are assignments and tests. and you will learn very well how to get the 60%.

just saying. lol

9. Night life? too luxurious for us! milo ais.. yes please.

10. We work on the very last minute. literally the last minute.
we are productive like that.
panda eyes everyone!

other than that,
what I've learnt the most is, my university life is quite awesome lah.

***********
side note:
trying to clear up all the draft post (about my university life) that I have saved/written since long time ago..
started my working life already and will blog about it soon..
new phase of my life..
where the people surrounding me (i.e. my colleagues) are all talking about mid-life crisis and stuff.

=.=''

2015 first post + Taiwan

2015 first post! yay!

finally lah
has the time and effort to write blog. (blame more on the effort lol)

it's already February! woww
blog post is so inconsistent
thanks also to my hectic busy final year,
but still feel very blessed anyway cos everything went quite smoothly at the moment.

sometimes we tend to complain a lot how rough we live our life but I think we need to appreciate the good moment also, be fair mahhhh *nod nod

anyway, all is well. #guanyinblessing

just came back from a 10-days vacation in Taiwan.
not too bad i would say. but not as good as what i have expected it to be.
thought of writing my trip as to make it more informative and useful for reference, but nah, i'm too old to write this stuff. leave it to others lol #noeffort #nomotivation

anyway, okay lah, Taiwan is not that difficult to travel to provided if you know how to read and speak in Chinese. everything is quite convenient.
do some research on the good food and cheap hostel. then for sure your trip will be within your budget and can experience the best out of it.

RM3k for 10 days how about that? not that bad huh.
lucky me and my another friend made some effort on research. duhhh...
and be smart lah. plan ahead is one thing, but to have common sense is another important thing : the primary advice for every traveller who wish to travel to other country, especially without experience.
starting from buying air ticket till airport check-in till back to Malaysia KLIA2, just.. be smart lah. wtf

okay lah some photos for "compulsory condition" for writing a sort-of vacation blog post. haha
