Depressed... :(

Just back in UPM.
sigh -,-
I am not really that emo lah.
Just a bit depressed.
First day here in K10 after 5 weeks.
Not that sad lah tho.
But it took me a moment to think back how to talk to the people here.
*pointing index fingers to the head with eyes closed*
I need that energy back.
Trust me, it consumes energy!
Need some time to adapt loh.

Ya lah, and the worst thing is that not many new/interesting songs coming out these few months to calm my tits mind. \ ^.^"/
My current playlist :
1. Can't Remember to Forget You - Shakira and Rihanna
2. All of me - John Legend
3. American Authors - Best Day of My Life
4. Invisible - Hunter Hayes
5. Cheating - John Letterman

Stories that we shared

I believe everyone at this age is experimenting something new. We are growing up slowly and still exploring ourselves. There is no wrong when in some moment we have self doubt or lack of self-esteem. Especially at our generation where we are exposed to all sorts of social networking sites which directly bring us to more psychological consequences. Everyone of us at this age knows that. We all can always read articles about how bad social networking is affecting our life, how it ruins our mood and all. We all understand. But still, we cannot get away from it! It's just something that our generation has to go through.
And now it is all up to how one whether or not is mentally prepared to see things at his/her own view.
One way to be mentally grown up a little more is to listen to stories. Any kind of stories that told by anyone.
I am glad that this holiday I spent it quite well, listening to stories.

I remember I swiped through my FB recently and I found one page which interview random people on the street of New York. They asked them to tell their story of their own. I am really impressed. Some are really motivating, some are really worth for everyone of us to pick up and learn from.

Sometimes these stories are not for us to judge. Cos you do not know what and how their personal reason behind it. But in another way, why not to put ourselves in his/her shoes and learn what and how we can face it when it become your story?

I am really grateful how well my holidays are spent. (Cos I don't feel that way normally *LOL)
There is so many opportunities I can heard from a lot of people.

How I listen to stories from others?
I helped my dad in the shop. It's CNY. And this is the peak time for this business.
Every customers who entered to the shop tell their stories.
They all have different background, really.
One has her son in Singapore busy with his career, one shared how hard she just recovered from sickness, one was worried her husband not liking the one thing she bought, one shows how much she care for the tradition and her family.
Really, you do not need to be a reporter to interview them. You can always listen and gain one bit by one bit of these moral stories from them in the shop.
I am really grateful I was there and got the chance to listen to them.
Be a shopkeeper instead!

How else I listen to stories?
It's CNY. We gathered together with relatives in the house and share small talks.
I think I've already told it before, but I am really blessed I am in a big family.
Relatives are the one who always give sincere advices, who else does?
A lot of advices are really just 'raw' and real that apparently you just think that all the nagging were all for your own good. I also enjoyed every moment when I just sit back and listen to my papa mama and aunties uncles having conversation among each other. It's just purely fun and entertaining at the same time.
It is a moment that is so precious that I just can't treasure it enough.

Of course not to forget all the gatherings with friends.
People always say, when you are outside you rely on friends. Yeah, we told all our chap bu long to our friends. No one else has the privilege to know it. We listen to everyone's crap and we still think it is worth to listen. lol.
It is great if everyone pour out their heart to make friends. I personally think that to define friend is to mean that one should be sincerely happy for them when he/she is happy. And again, I might sounded like I am writing will or something (CHOI touch wood) but I am glad I have bunch of friends that can always be there for me la. (CHEESY OIIII!)

At the end of the day...
sometimes we just have to change our perspective a little bit.
when people are telling their story, stop the 'judging' like we always gonna do, but instead we share it with our heart and exchange our stories to them sincerely.
This will definitely makes both parties win-win loh.

I am writing blog to share my story too,
and expecting myself to grow a little more bit by bit everyday,
bear with me,
listen to

STORY OF MY LIFE.

CNY is coming! and some life updates

CNY is coming!

Hands down CNY is always my favourite holiday of the year. (Besides Christmas, Wesak Day, Deevali, Agong's Birthday, Independence Day, ......)
Okay, as long as there is holiday I am happy.
Not sure why lah, but I think the main reason of course is all the ang powsssss I will be receiving. *cough*
Other than that, something that will be quite exciting is that to meet with relatives! I really like the environment of CNY when the living room is always crowded with families and relatives. Sharing small talks and old memories together.
I must admit that I really am the family guy la.
I enjoy every moment of it.
The smiles on the faces, with new red shirt and pants, and CNY cookies and delicacies. >.<
The "inner-family-guy" developed inside of me is because of the way I have been raised, no doubt.
My family for both of my father and mother side is always very close together. We share talks on the phone, we eat together even if there is no special occasion, we gather and have fun and go for vacation together. And I am really glad this happen to us.
All of my friends are always very surprised when I told them about this.
Not to be very cheesy, but the purpose of CNY is always for us to gather and to bond and maintain this kinda relationship la.
Something that we really need to realise is that, in your every moment of hard times, guess who else will always be at your back? all of your family, of course. And everyone need to realise this at least.

In conjunction with that, spring cleaning is something you cannot run away from doing it. Friends and family will be coming as guests to your house, and you don't wish to let them to sit in the messy living room. These few days, right away after my final exam I was so busy cleaning the house. (like how I did in every year) (cheh, must give credit to myself)
It is a lot of works to do. No joke. The house we usually think it is small is not small at all when comes to spring cleaning. All the dirt in every corner of the house is indeed very surprising.
Not to take every credit to myself, but I really don't wish to see my mum and dad after busy working still need to spend their remaining energy to do the cleaning.
It seems like I am still a little kid saying something like this.. but it's always something that I have it in me.

But at this age, you can't help it to act like a social networking freak when doing all these works.
My inner monologue:
"Gosh, so much of dirt and hair on the floor! I am sooooooooo totally gonna upload it on Instagram.
*snap* #hair #dirt #dirty #omg #tired #springcleaning #rest #rewardformyself #restfor5hours #need100plus #cny #ihateit #handsgetdirty #livingroom #tamandesawan #klang #malaysia #sorrynotsorry #yolo #handsome #worldpeace #nofilter #instaboy #ootd #imjustjokingthereisnoootd #sunnyday #latergonnawritemyblog #staytuned #iloveyouyouloveme #icantthinkofanythingelsealready"

well...
thank you for reading all the hashtags if you did. lol

But in all seriousness, I don't think I will be updating my blog that often already.
Due to various reasons:
1. It is awesome when reading back my older posts, but at the same time my eyes hurt (sometimes). I can't help myself but to feel how childish I was when writing.
2. No time. Seriously, I don't think I will have the time to update my blog in the next few months, unless is to unleash my dissatisfaction. (which I will anyway, do it now on Twitter, talking to myself)
3. I don't want controversy. As you can tell, sometimes I like to post stuff that may be offensive to some people who makan chili dia rasa pedas. and I don't wish to have more controversy in this few years cos I will be focusing on my studies and more important stuffs in the next 2 years. I want it to be calm and peaceful. It is not the time for me to make some unnecessary and useless waves which does not benefit me.

Now it is the time for my 2014 New Year's MegaPixel (saje want it to be fancy):
1. To maintain my CGPA.
2. To be good at what I am doing.
3. To learn to be sincere...
4. To be good at new musical instrument! Piano!! (I love music and I am glad that I manage to play some songs on piano now! Hooray for myself)
5. To have lesser drama in university life (cos I would have no time for all the dramas, I have other more important stuff need to focus)
6. To have a new look. (guess that was a fail for me last year, but I think I have more fashion sense now la, DON'T LAUGH OK WTF)
7. To care less at the less important stuff (I am already good at this I think, but I guess I need it more, cos I am always surrounded by people who always care too much)

Looking back at my last year's resolution, I think I accomplished quite a lot and I am really proud of myself.
1. Maintain my CGPA.
2. Know where am I and where I want to go.
3. Experience more new experience.
4. Develop new hobbies.
5. Have a new look.
6. Make new friends.
7. Improve my guitar skills.
So I guess listing out my resolution really works on me..
and I hope I can accomplished them all this year.

K done. Signing off.
See you soon, hopefully in the near future.

Here is the picture of my control laboratory device.
Saje want to put a picture la... Don't want all words makes the post too dull.

okay la okay la.. put something relevant:

Still don't get it.

In the noodle stall

Just a short update on the things I manage to discover for the past few weeks/months.

It is already Week 10!
I am damn free right now! This is so unusual and I am so freaking out!  Cos normally around this time I would be busy as hell. As like, to pang sai also no time lah. But this time I can still sit in front of my laptop, lay back and type nonsense and plan for shopping, check for movie schedule, non-stop Ellen's YouTube videos marathon and stuff like that. *not to forget a daily-3hours-FB-scroll
Not sure if I should  feel happy or worry.

No test? NO. We gonna have a very intense Test 2 in the coming next two weeks.
No assignment? NO. We have a lot of assignments. Like, a lot 'a lot', not little 'a lot'.
But why am I still acting so chill!
Cos normally we do things in the last minutes!!
I am so used to it already. Not like how I will react when I was in Form 5/ Form 6 lah.
I am already in my third year in my university. Those innocent moment has gone by now.
As for this moment, I need a certain dose of adrenaline rush in order for me to get things done.
Even studying now feel like it is too early.

SLURP!
Slash slash.
Lately me and my coursemates was talking about our future career and stuff like that, in a noodle stall.
He talked about his experience as an intern in the company of my field. And I am starting to feel motivated after listening to him. (though he was just an intern, was doing job that an intern would do)
I have always been positive about my future working path. I mean, after taking up this course, I have been exposed to various of positive reviews about my "future job". From my lecturers, from my cousins, from my friends' friends, from my seniors, from my dad's customers, from my auntie's sibling's cousin's friends.
Last time I used to always blame myself for taking up course that I don't like. But, now looking back at that time, I was being too naive to think it that way.

Advice is the key. We should always listen to advice. Not just for the sake of listening to it, but to think about why people wanted to say it to you. They tell the story for a reason.

Learn. Now learn to accept advice. Not just always blindly hold on to your own principles in life that you think you are always right. Cos we are human, we are NOT always right. We are still young, the chances of getting things wrong is high. We can have our vision, but not to blindly set a goal.
And I'm glad I listened to advice.

Right now I am still LEARNING to accept ADVICE.
which I think is pretty important.

I am in my third year as an engineering student in UPM already. Still slowly growing up.
I earned this spot in UPM, then I should act like I worth it.
and now it's time to tell everyone that I have no regret, from the deep of my heart.
Because I am always truthful to myself.
There is no use of lying to myself anymore, cos the most pathetic thing that shouldn't happen is to lie to yourself.

Things change, so I don't hope for more. Cos I scare I can't handle the pain once I felt.
I can't promise I will be turns out to be very successful in the future, but at least something has brighten me up a little bit. Bit by bit, by now, slowly. Positively.

*P/S: to the future me, do not feel ashamed when reading this post. Cos everyone grows up. This is just a stage where I am still discovering out myself. It is a transition state that everyone will go through. Some people grow up faster, some people like me, are slower. But it is better than none. At least  right now I am grateful and happy where I am, who I am.

*and at least right now, I see no good reason to act like my age.
BWAHAHAHAHA!

Manly Man

Life would have been so much easier if we are treating it in a more manly way.
What is the point of thinking so much that you ended up putting yourself in a bad mood?

I know people who is so complicated than the toughest mathematical equation.
I know people who is manlier than the manly man who don't give a fuck about the recent news people are trending.

At the end of the day, it is a choice of which type of people you wanted your life to be.
Stand in the balance point, and your life would have been so much easier.

5 songs of the day :
1. Life in colors - One Republic
2. All I want - Kodaline
3. Another love - Tom Odell
4. Let her go - The Passenger
5. Wings - Birdy

saje je want to update this blog.

5 Countries 7 Cities in 18 days (Part III)

del Colosseo street

What people say about Europe countries:
"Heaven is where:
the police are British,
the mechanics are German,
the lovers are French,
the chefs are Italians,
and it is all organised by the Swiss."

Bass on Draught, one of the restaurant in Rome

Talk about 'Food'!
How can people resist Italian cuisine right?
Pizza! Spaghetti! Gelato!
All are from Italy! *''ok'' fingers to the mouth* yum yum~

Italian cuisine : Truffle risotto, seafood risotto, and various types of pasta and pizza!

Not to say that the food there are the cheapest among all the Europe countries we have been in this entire trip!

Random street in Rome

I don't know.
But the people we met there are more easy-going.
This place is just right.
Along the street you can occasionally heard random musician playing instrument and singing song.
Slow-paced lifestyle, sitting in the cafe tasting wine, enjoying life, sun bathing, kills time by meeting with people and tasting good food.
Everything seems to be more "European" than I have imagine it to be.
Talk about 'Romantic', this place is definitely more romantic than Paris!
No wonder la TVB drama "Triumph in the Skies" were shot here for some scenes!
See! Why don't they go Paris! This must be the reason!

Just married! < 3

The buildings here are very unique. They are not very modernised like in KL city.
Tall skyscrapers? No! you can hardly find one here in Rome.
But very cool la, as you walk around, the feeling where you went back time to a historical city that you can name it in the Sejarah book!

Random leftover structures of the buildings? (not sure lol)

In order to take over Rome, the most simple way is to buy a Roma Pass.
Thank God they have a very developed and organised tourist-friendly package to sign up.
This pass cost each adult €34. It is quite costly, but with the ''easier access to every where in Rome'', worth it.
Roma Pass includes free use of the city’s public transport network (including the Metro underground train, bus and tram) some of the major museum entry, and Sant' Angelo Castle and Coloseum!
(There are more, can google it up)
But this pass only last for three days la, i.e. from the day you bought it.
And you can easily get it from most of the magazine stores in the train station.

In the Colosseum (with the Roma Pass, we can cut the long queue to get priority entry)

Thank God my jie's friend are joining our trip this time. The 'fear of getting lost in the middle of no where' has now officially gone! Cos he and my jie are the two persons who has been here. So there is two persons who are a lot more familiar on all the ''how to go''. Hooray!
Her friend brought his parents too to join us. So good la, my parents have chit chatting members this time! *to share the pasar pagi's talks and all~

In the Colosseum

Most of the historical attractions we went really amazed me. Like, how the past centuries people manage to did this kinda buildings! The crafting, the art of the building, the gigantic structures, etc. They are indeed very historical. But erm, I am not a big European history fan though, so all the places turns out all looks the same to me. Like, I get very excited for the first visit, ''wah'', then ''oo'', then ''hmm'', then ''I've seen this before, didn't we visited this place?'', then ''I must be from the past, this building look familiar to me''. HAHAH!
Sorry again for my ''kampung-ness''!

Random street in Rome

But something I did really enjoy is when we walk along the small and narrow streets of this city. I like to cherish the moment of the locals having their own time. I like the way they treat their life like there is no tomorrow. I like it when they don't live in a hectic and fast pace. I like to see they enjoy food and enjoy the moment meeting with friends and family. I like the air I breath in, the music I heard, the small cab that pass by, the cyclist who cycles slowly, the language they speak that I don't understand, the smell of the pizza and pasta, the red plant hanging beside the door of the restaurant, the kid sleeping in his mum's shoulders, ...

Instead of the people in Asia where 'breakfast' is 'breakfast', 'pass me the fork and spoon now cos I need to finish my lunch before I get back to work', and 'there is no dinner without rice!', etc.

Random mansion in Rome

We all behave differently according to the culture we are born and raised. So sometimes you may think the people there are lazy, why are they not working, and stuff like that. But this is culture, afterall. This is the culture that we and they practice differently though.

On the side note, the Metro underground train in Rome is almost like the one I described in the post on the trip in Paris. It's creepy, in certain tourist attraction's stations are very packed, and it is dangerous. After my jie's friend's family has join us together, we always move in a group of 7 peoples. Kinda a big group already. But with our ''tourist-ty look'' written all over our face, we are still the favourite target for the snatch thief. Actually they don't "snatch", they steal. If you are not cautious enough in taking care of your bag or wallet, they can easily steal your belongings with their skillful techniques within a blink of an eye. At least it was how I was informed by my jie and her friend.
On day 1 itself, we actually got targeted by a group of three bearded guys in the train station when we about to go back to the hotel. It was almost 12a.m. in the midnight. There were this three guys pretending to be a tourist by holding a map. Me and my mum notice them and were very suspicious of their intention already. How can three bearded middle-aged man who all has some big tattoos on their hands be always keeping an eye on us while holding their map. They don't even look like a tourist. No big bag, no water bottle, not wearing proper shoes, and their look, just didn't seems like a ''tourist'' to me and my mum. So immediately my mum warn us to get to the next door after the train arrived. Without surprise, three of them follow along. In the mean time while waiting other passengers to get down of the train, we quickly get in and they try to squeeze in between us. C'mon! Don't be silly, why you guys wanted to squeeze into the same compartment of the train together with us. It is 12 midnight and not even crowded anymore! We all started to stare at them with the "not this time, buddy" look. And they left the train afterwards before the door of the train closes. They already know we have been noticing them and hence difficult for them to take further action, so they gave up.
Phew. We all were panic as hell. The way passing through each station in the train takes almost like "forever" to us. We wanted to get down quickly and get back to the hotel as soon as possible before we become the target of the next thief.

Aihhh. Don't know la if we are just bad luck. For some reason, we always got this special ''treat'' from the local. I guess that is their "welcome gift" la.

Anyway, overall the trip to Rome and Vatican City is fun though. ADVENTUROUS ok!

Here are some pictures taken in Rome :

Colosseum

Colosseum

Colosseum (in the day)

Colosseum (in the night)

I have been collecting information about various kind of photographing skills before I went for this trip.
Still a beginner trying his best to capture the best moment he seen right into his eyes.
I didn't bring tripod, so a lot of the pictures turn out blurry in low light condition. T__T

Trevi Fountain (in the day)

Trevi Fountain (in the night)

Trevi Fountain, the most famous fountain in Rome. Impressive monument! People can toss coin into the water to make wishes. Toss it over your shoulder with your back to the fountain. Legend has it you will return to Rome if you throw a coin into the water. :D

Piazza di Spagna (a.k.a. Spanish Step, widest staircase in Rome)

Castel Sant'Angelo (English: Castle of the Holy Angel)

Castel Sant'Angelo is a museum now. It was built in the Roman emperor day.

Castel Sant'Angelo (Vatican City)

St. Peter's Basilica, a Roman Catholic church within the Vatican city

St. Peter's Basilica, the most renowned work of Renaissance architecture. It is still the largest church in the world.

We don't really understand some of the ceremony they will be having every year. But in case you don't know, this is the place where the pope will be here wave to their religious believers.  lol. sorry if I get the concept wrong. Google it for more info.

But confirm la, the monuments and structures inside the church are JAW-DROPPING-ly amazing.

Italian Gelato! Soft texture, creamy, and very delicious!

Italian Gelato!

tbh, all the photos taken for the entire trip can't really show the "true pictures" of the scene, unless if you personally be in there to feel it. I'm quite disappoint with the photos turn out cos they don't trigger my whole experiences and memories when I was in there.

I don't know about you? do you have the same thought as mine?
Photo can't pictures the true experience/feeling.

Next post will be about trip to Pisa, Venice, and Milan.
Read Part I (from London) and Part II (Paris) here. :D

Laziness...

Time flies!! It is SEPTEMBER!!
OMG OMG OMG!

Next week I will have to go back to my university already!
HOW DEPRESSING!

For some reason, I used to be very excited and desperate to go back to university after my long semester break. But I am not feeling the same way this time!
I am not ready yet!!

I mean, I am still doing the same thing during this long break, i.e. do nothing.
But this time the 'ohm' is not there!
I don't feel motivated!
:( :(

*suddenly turn into a bitch whining about my dissatisfaction

So I turn on my computer, log into my page, and start typing random shit hoping that I can realise how lazy I have been doing.

Devilish aH Wai : Look! You useless shit! Slack at home every semester break. Is this what you call a life?
Angelic aH Wai : *innocent face* No ~ I know exactly what I am doing. I just want a break ~ Break is for break not for keeping yourself busy ~
Devilish aH Wai : Wait, I should be the one encouraging 'laziness', right?
Angelic aH Wai : *strokes chin* yaaaaaaa lah.

=.=''

Ok. All I'm trying to say is, I do realise how lazy I am.
So I hope the future me, in whatever, whenever and wherever circumstances, can feel guilty and be a little more motivated after reading the old posts in this diary blog.

Nonetheless, university 2nd year semester summer break is the only time left for me to indulge myself into this whole 'laziness' to the max. Cos I won't be this lazy anymore after that.
In fact, I CAN'T BE!
3rd year I will be having the 12 weeks internship, 4th year will be busy with FYP, and then BAM! Graduate.
Once graduated will be all the way to start the new chapter of my life! By that time, I SHALL PUT ALL THE EFFORT ON MY WORK MAN!! SHOW THE BOSS WHAT YOU MADE OF!! STEEL!!! AS HARD AS A STEEL! A CONDUCTOR! wtf
and then it is time to find a girlfriend you pathetic nerdy geek!!!!! GET A LIFE! JUST Kidding, still not that desperate lah.

*sob
