Simply awesome. I had a blast.

It has been a while. I know it is time to update my blog already. So I quickly swipe through my samsung to see whether is there any pictures that worth to tell the story. But sadly, no. None of the pictures in my phone picture gallery seems to be interesting. *sigh* Almost 3/4 of the pictures are homeworks, assignments, lab report and stuff like that. Ya, ya. What a life right.

My second year in UPM is officially ended. Fourth semester was fast. Just a blink of eyes. Most probably is because I have more involved myself in activities. And I took my academic performance as serious as ever. I guess these little things make myself too busy to think about how my three months ended so fast.

So just quick review of my boring life. Hmm, maybe not that boring lah, CHALLENGING I shall put it. lolol

Fourth sem started with Lou Sang. Since it was still CNY. And normally we wish each other some nice words when LOU-ing the SANG right, but sadly my immature friends all laugh at me when I shouted "let's all get 4 flat this sem". "Kah Wai, are you serious? 4 flat? BWAHAHAHA"
shitty friends.
shitty people everywhere.

Since I've mentioned 'shit', let's get the 'shit' continue. I took Hubungan Etnik. And we are asked to do a survey on a topic. So as everyone knows, I took every assignment very seriously. *ehem* So I tried to do the survey as serious as possible instead of faking it. I actually go out of the campus and carry out this survey. But I met a shitty Chinese lady bitching about the survey lah. HELLO AUNTIE, if you don't want to fill in the form just shut your big mouth. Stop whining in front of everyone in the public. We are not gonna take your single cent. Don't we look like a student to you? Have some common sense. wtf
Well, the fat auntie is not in the picture above. :) But her habitat is around The Mines. Just beware of her.
But at least I've learnt something that is useful lah. And I can safely make a conclusion out of the this whole survey thing : Chinese are kia si and selfish as fuk. That is a fact. And I'm not being racist or something. I am a Chinese too.

Okay it may sounded a little horrible right. Not at all lah. I know what I can do to calm my nerves . For instance, the Rookies Cup organised by the Acoustic Yin Zi Workshop UPM. It is a song-composing competition organised by them every year. This is the first time I join as an audience. It was fun. And I am amazed by the talents of UPM-ers. Love their songs! And I'm such a big fan at that moment. So glad that some of the people I know actually won the big prizes. They totally deserve it lah.

And then there is Chinese Orchestra. I have so much fun listening to the concert. It was not as bad as how people described it. If to compare, I would rather give my vote to this over the Dance Concert. (No pic, coz it was too dark in the hall)

So the other event I've joined is the charity run organised by the Engineering Student's Society. A very closed friend of mine PM-ed me before the semester started, to ask me to join as a committee. I straight away promised him when I found out that he is the director of this event. It's very tiring indeed, and energy-consuming, especially when all the target participants are the students in our faculty, and everyone knows engineering students are SO DAMN INACTIVE LIKE AN OLD BROKEN WOOD, and the top board committee members are not committing, THE WORST THING IS THAT WE ONLY HAVE 7 MEMBERS IN THE TOP BOARD. Running here and there, to the office, back to the office, promote in the cafeteria, ask friends to join, dealing with troublesome participants, etc etc etc.
But I'll have to say it's really is an experience lah. This type of activity is not those annually-kinda-activity where they have 'backing person'. NO. We are literally white mice that started from zero. Without support and without experience. We spent about 10 weeks in organizing this event. Though the participation turned out to be quite disappointing, but I am really proud of the director (and myself) and those who commit in this event.
It is very challenging indeed.

One of the publicity poster I made using android apps. A complete amateur. Not that convincing pun. lolol

Back to my field. At last we had an industrial visit. Definitely boost up my inner-motivation. I can almost see my bright future. lolol. These bunch of Engineer-soon-to-be, not that bad huh.

Some quick review of what we did for our project this semester. Printed-Circuit-Board. Checked.

Automated Clothes Hanger System. Checked. This project is literally "life-consuming". It will never work properly if hardware implementation is a mess. About 2 weeks of sleepless night. Every EE-ians knows the best.

A short video demo on how it works. That was the model that is still not completed one though.

So you must be thinking that once you've done your project you can have a good night sleep right?
NO.
My K10's room just threatened me. Busy wiping off the water that splash in from the broken windows when raining. OH GOD WHY.

Nah, nevermind, at least we have a great time tapping our smart phones in the library.
ENGINEERING STUDENT.

So yah, I guess that's it. My recap of the semester.
I had so much fun.
*shaking head with my eyes closed and a smile*
;)
